KNOCKOUT collapses and throws up into the toilet.She briefly looks at her throw up which is a combination of glitter, confetti, and morning breakfast. Staring at it with a bit of shame, a knock at the door breaks her contemplation. The door swings open and KNOCKOUT scoots back. BIANCA walks in and immediately notices the throwup before KNOCKOUT who becomes embarrassed.
BIANCA:
Oh my god. I’m so sorry. Sorry.
She walks out leaving KNOCKOUT to quickly shut and flush the toilet holding her eyes shut in hopes the world could just come to an abrupt end. A few moments pass before we hear another knock. KNOCKOUT keeps her head down. This time the door opens
softly. It’s BIANCA again.
BIANCA:
Hey. Sorry it’s me again. Are you ok?
KNOCKOUT:
Yeah. Just y’know.
Puzzling together the right words to say, BIANCA stares at KNOCKOUT with a sort of empathy having been in the same shoes so many times before.
BIANCA: (CONT’D)
I’ve been there.
KNOCKOUT looks up at BIANCA, furrowing her brow in disbelief. She sits back as BIANCA hands over a water bottle.
BIANCA: (CONT’D) (Earnestly)
I hope you feel better.
KNOCKOUT hesitates looking down at the water bottle.
KNOCKOUT:
Thank you.
BIANCA:
Of course.
BIANCA makes her exit as KNOCKOUT cracks open the bottle and takes a small sip. She breathes in and sits with a
little more clarity.
